If you want the best front and rear carpet set available for your 3rd generation Firebird, here it is. This molded carpet set is for all 82, 1982, 83, 1983, 84, 1984, 85, 1985, 86, 1986, 87, 1987, 88, 1988, 86, 1989, 90, 1990, 91, 1991, 1992 and 92 Firebird Models. Convertible models will require trimming of the cargo area. This new designed carpet is the best of both worlds. It has the factory look but with an updated heat and sound deadener pre-applied to the backing!

Features the correct more full Cut Pile with a ACC Heavy Mass Backing pre-installed. Looks crisp and extra defined once installed. With the Heavy Mass Backing its gives you a much more quiet inside and is much easier to install. Exact factory style rubber heel pad. Strongly recommended for anyone that wants the best for their ride.

- READ FULL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE BEGINNING, Instructions may vary for multi-piece sets
1. Remove new product from box. Lay flat and pop contours back into place. Allow a few hours for product to relax back into proper shape. Check material for accuracy.
2. Compare new and old carpet. (New product may have excess material on outer edges.)
3. In some applications it may be necessary to use old carpet as a template for console cuts.
4. IMPORTANT: Fold new product in half from front to rear. Place in vehicle lining up molded contour to seat risers or any other identifiable starting point on both driver and passenger sides. Once fitted, continue installation.
5. Roll product forward making any cuts needed for brackets, shifters and heater vents etc. while maintaining proper alignment on seat risers or other starting point.
6. Next, cut in center at firewall to allow product to go underneath dash.
7. Continue same procedure for remainder of installation – working your way to outer edges.
8. Once product is properly fitted you are now ready to do the final trimmings on outer edges, seat belts and holes etc.
*Note: Applying adhesive to hold product in place is generally not necessary. If desired, only apply a light brush or spray adhesive after correct dry fit has been obtained.
