Famaro Project Update: Butch Reveals a Wild Hood Mod & First Fire-Up!
That incredible "Famaro" build is back with a massive October update! Butch Horn, our favorite custom fabricator, is here to show off the staggering progress on this unique creation on our YouTube channel. If you're new to the project, it’s a mind-bending mashup: the body of a 1973 RS Camaro fused onto the chassis of a 1994 Pontiac Formula. This month, Butch is sharing the biggest milestones yet.

The Custom Bodywork is Almost Done: Butch has poured countless hours into the fabrication, welding, and sanding required to make these two different eras of cars look like one cohesive machine. The heavy lifting is complete, and he’s now taking the Famaro home for the final prime and paint. The planned color scheme is a head-turner: Baldwin Motion green accented with a white stripe.
A Custom Forward-Tilt Hood: Just when you thought this build couldn't get any more custom, Butch reveals a wild new modification. He’s fabricating a Corvette-style hood hinge conversion. This means the hood will pivot from the front and tilt forward, just like a classic Vette! It’s an awesome, unique touch that will definitely require some specialized **Camaro car parts** and clever engineering.
We Have Ignition! This is the update everyone has been waiting for. After all the fabrication, the Famaro is finally alive!
