New master cylinder for your 1970 - 1981 Firebird or Trans am with Rear Disc Brakes. This is also a replacement for 79 - 81 models with factory 4 wheel power disc brakes. Works for cars with front disc brakes and disc on the rear end axle, Disc/Disc. Our New Dual Reservoir Master Cylinder has a original style look for your 2nd Generation Firebird. This version comes with super handy bleeders on the side. The square-shaped lid is finished in Yellow Zinc and is fastened with a single bale wire strap. This Master Cylinder has very simplistic square lines that will be a welcome new addition to any engine compartment. There are two ports on the left side, 9/16-18 & 1/2-20, and the bore diameter is 1-1/18”. This unit supplies plenty of strong braking power! Use dot 3, 4 or 5 fluid. Order yours today!

*Note: Most original 79-81 4-Wheel Disc Brake models did not have bleeders on the master cylinder. This new replacement master cylinder will have bleeders. It will look a little different but will function perfectly.
