Detroit Speed reprofiled the tank to provide additional clearance around the rear of the vehicle, making it easier to install larger 3-inch exhaust systems on lowered second-generation Firebird builds. The integrated USCAR mounting ring accepts compatible carbureted and EFI fuel modules (sold separately), including GM "SS" and "ZL1" style modules, allowing you to upgrade your fuel system now or convert to EFI in the future without replacing the fuel tank.
