1967 - 1968 Firebird Wheel Well Opening Chrome Molding, Rear RH

New Rear wheel opening chrome molding for your 1967 - 1968 Firebird. This one is for the Right Hand, Passengers side. Replaces original GM part number 4229493. Correct shape, size, and fit. Includes Phillips head mounting screws for an easy install.

*** NOTE *** This wheel opening molding will have a dent / crimp spot near the bottom to align with your cars lower body line. Shown in the pictures with the Red arrow. That is factory correct and should be there.

Depth of trim mounting surface is much narrower than original. Leaves over 1/2 inch of exposed lip and would require new holes drilled to install. Was initially pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive a replacement chrome trim piece was, now I know why. Completely unusable, and due to shipping and customs brokerage fees, unreturnable.
