New super cool CLEAR See Through HEI Distributor Cap and Rotor kit for your Firebird. HEI, High Energy Ignition distributor caps were originally installed on 1974 - 1981 models. High energy ignition means your distributor has a built in (internal) ignition coil. From the factory 1967 - 1973 models have and external ignition coil mounted on the engine intake. This kit is composed of high-strength polymer and the cap features solid brass terminals. Designed to fit GM V8 engines with HEI distributors.
