1974 - 1976 Pontiac Firebird Evaporator Conversion VIR Eliminator Kit

New Kit for Pontiac 74-76 V8 w/ A6 Compressor. This is a VIR Eliminator to Newer Accumulator Orifice Kit.

Evaporator Conversion Kit is designed for 1974-1976 Pontiac Firebird models. Conversion Kit removes the VIR and updates the A/C system to an Accumulator Orifice style system as found on later model vehicles. Excellent for use when retrofitting from R12 to a newer automotive refrigerant such R134a.

Evaporator Conversion Kit includes:
Evaporator, Accumulator, Hoses, Pressure Cycling Switch, and all necessary o-rings and hardware.

Made in the USA!

Correct fit for all 74, 75, and 76 V8 Pontiac models.

NOTE: Some 1973 and early 1974 models use a POA Valve instead of a VIR. Please double check your application before ordering.
