Description Technical Specs Extended Information   1969 - 1981 Firebird Neutral Safety and Backup Light Switch Relocation Conversion Kit for Overdrive Transmissions Eliminate linkage issues by relocating the neutral safety backup light switch from your steering column to the floor shifter. This kit is for automatic overdrive transmissions conversions. Fits all 69 - 81 Firebird models with original factory shifter and TH200-4R, TH700-R4 or 4L60 Overdrive transmission. Works Great For All; TH200-4R, TH700-R4, 4L60, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70E, 4L75E, 4L80E This Switch Relocation Conversion Kit now comes with a new neutral safety / backup light switch. *Perfect kit if your car has headers and your TRA-629 auto transmission back-drive lockout linkage has been removed. PART NUMBER: DAS-276 1. Remove the console and the shifter from the car. 2. Use the New Neutral Safety Switch provided. 3. The purple wires are Park-Neutral, and the green and pink wires are Reverse. 4. In order to secure the mount for the NSS you must drill 2 holes and use either pop rivets or bolts (not provided). Install the PIN before drilling to locate the holes. 5. Follow the Instructions. 6. The purple wires are Neutral Safety, pink & green Backup.
