Description   1978 - 1981 Firebird Steering Column, Non-Tilt Original GM Rebuilt Original style GM rebuilt steering column for your Firebird or Trans Am. This column will be restored to show quality and come ready to install. Tired of a sloppy, worn out column? Here is your answer! Comes pre-painted black just like factory units. Turn signal lever and keyed ignition lock are not included. Excellent quality column that is ready to go! *Note ~ The firewall mounting plate will be bent slightly for shipping purposes. Gently bend back to shape when installing. Exact fit for; *all late production 1978 models *all 1979-1981 models Please double check your steering column shaft. This is the shaft that goes from your steering column to the steering box. Many cars have had column swaps over the years. This column will only work with steering shafts that have a bolt that goes through the lower column shaft.
