1971 - 1972 Firebird and Trans Am Aluminum Thermostat Water Neck Housing, 478144

New intake water neck thermostat housing for your 1971 - 1972 Firebird or Trans Am. Exact fit for all 71 and 72 models. Correct aluminum design, shape, and fit. Replaces original GM with part number 478144 stamped. Use with our Hardware Set, ENC-2072B, to get the job done right the first time!

This has the Correct 8 Degree Angle. Used to connect the radiator hose to the intake and to hold the thermostat in place. Factory correct for 1971-72 models. Correct size shape and has the original part number on the part, it is impossible to tell from an original.

The finish is bare aluminum with cast finish, ready to bolt on.
