Description   New 1967, 1968 and 1969 Hood Tach Vent Line Kit now available! In 1968 Pontiac had a problem with their hood tach fogging up, so in 1970, GM came out with this kit. GM’s fix was connecting a vacuum hose to the bottom of the hood tach to the heater box on the firewall. All 70 - 72 hood tachs had this kit installed by the factory to correct the problem with the tach fogging up. Fits 67, 68 and 69 Firebirds. Also fits: 1967 - 1967 GTO models.
