1973 - 1976 Trans Am Functional Flapper Shaker Hood Scoop Electric Conversion Kit, Pontiac Engines 400 or 455

This is an amazing new kit that wires directly to your fuse box on the ignition side. This allows the shaker hood scoop flab to open like original 1970 - 1972 shaker hood scoops. With this new kit you can allow air to flow in for improved performance and close to keep outside elements out of your 73 -76 Trans Am. Designed with an electric solenoid for 12V current to improve durability. This is an easy do-it-yourself kit that wires directly to your fuse box so the flap opens when the engine is started. Each kit comes complete with a detailed instruction manual with pictures and text. You must use your original hood scoop or buy a new one, hood scoop is not included in this great kit.

*You can choose to add a Kick Down Switch and bracket to have the flap activated when stepping hard on the accelerator.

*This switch is only needed on 4 speed cars and 75 - 76 models ( 73 and 74 cars with TH 400 already have this Kick Down Switch from the factory.)

**Fits ALL 1973 1974 1975 1976 models with a 400 or 455 engine.

**Can also be used with 70 - 72 models with minor modification.
