DSE's exclusive billet aluminum offset shackles are designed to relocate the rear leaf springs inboard to accommodate larger rear tires. They were computer modeled and optimized with FEA, tested, and then CNC machined. They relocate the rear leaf spring inboard to accommodate 335 tires ( with a section of 13.5" ) on a F-Body or 315 tires ( with a section width of 12.6" ) on a X-Body. The shackle offset is 1-3/4". Use along with our other mini-tub components to complete your project. Kit includes 4 offset shackles and Grade 8 fasteners. This is the ORIGINAL billet aluminum offset shackle! The DSE shackle is designed for maximum suspension travel. There are hundreds of our shackles on the road and track with proven performance. Do not accept any imitation!

These Koni rear shocks should be used on a 67 - 81 Firebird that has been mini-tubbed. The monotube high pressure gas shocks are rebound adjustable. Rear upper shock crossmember is used when relocating the upper shock mounts inside of the frame rails which is typical when widening the rear wheel tubs. The crossmember is located between the rear wheel tubs. It should be mounted through the trunk floorpan to provide additional shock travel when ride height is lower than stock. This C-section crossmember is made from 1/8" steel. It adds additional structural integrity to the rear subframe and provides the necessary mounting for inboard upper shock mounts. It can be used on either staggered or non-staggered shock mounting.
Note: This rear upper shock crossmember is used with the Mini-Tub Kit. This is different from the crossmember used in the QUADRA Link kit.
