Description Technical Specs   1969 Firebird Deluxe Wood Grain Sport Steering Wheel Kit New wood grain sport steering wheel kit for your 1969 Firebird or Trans Am. This super cool wheel was available as an option on all 69 models. Complete set includes steering wheel, satin finish collar, horn parts, and black center cap with PMD logo. *Please See Tech Specs Tab For Wood Wheel Info. PART NUMBER: STE-2021 From the factory GM never put a REAL wooden steering wheel in any Firebird. All original assembly line and all reproduction 3 spoke wheels like this STE-2021 wheel were made of plastic with a simulated woodgrain finish. They have a steel inner ring core with a plastic outer. This reproduction wheel is a great match to what would have come in your car from 1969. The woodgrain wheel was an option and could be found in any 69 car; Base Model, 6 cylinder, 326, 350, HO, 400, or Trans Am, etc. Doesn't matter if you have Standard Interior or the optional Deluxe Interior. This is a excellent looking wheel kit, especially for the price!
